The comprehensive reconstruction of the road network at EURO-PARK Kobierzyce has been completed.
The project carried out from January 2024 to June 2025 has significantly improved safety, travel comfort and traffic flow in one of the most dynamically developing industrial areas in the region.
The modernization was a response to increasing traffic volumes and the development of businesses operating within the park. Thanks to the works carried out, the road infrastructure has been adapted to current user needs and prepared for further development of the zone in the future.
Five stages of the comprehensive project
The project implementation was divided into five stages, covering the reconstruction of key intersections, the construction of new infrastructure for pedestrians and drivers, and the development of public transport.
- Stage 1. Turbo-roundabout on DK35a
The first stage was the construction of a turbo-roundabout on the DK35a national road. As one of the main access points to EURO-PARK Kobierzyce, the new traffic arrangement increased the intersection’s capacity and improved safety for all road users.
- Stage 2. Turbo-roundabout on Koreańska Street
The next step was the construction of a turbo-roundabout on Koreańska Street. The investment improved circulation within the zone and facilitated the distribution of vehicle traffic between different areas of the park.
- Stage 3. New roundabout at Współpracy and Innowacyjna Streets
As part of the third stage, the intersection of Współpracy and Innowacyjna Streets was rebuilt, where a modern roundabout was created. This improved traffic organization and increased safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
- Stage 4. New parking bays and sidewalks
Significant emphasis was also placed on supporting infrastructure. New parking bays and sidewalks were built along Innowacyjna, Współpracy and LG Streets, improving mobility comfort for both drivers and pedestrians.
- Stage 5. Expansion of bus infrastructure
The final stage included the construction of four new bus platforms. This is an important amenity for employees commuting to the zone by public transport, increasing accessibility and convenience of using collective transport.
An investment matching the growing zone
The completed reconstruction of the road network is another step in the development of EURO-PARK Kobierzyce. Thanks to the comprehensive changes, transport conditions have improved, road user safety has increased, and movement within the zone has become more efficient and predictable.
