The industrial park was established in the Kobierzyce municipality in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in 2005.

EURO-PARK Kobierzyce covers an area of approximately 710 ha, of which about 340 ha are already developed. The remaining land is available for new investments.

Start of battery production for electric vehicles

In 2016 LG decided to move television production from Biskupice Podgórne to Mława, and in the Wrocław–Kobierzyce subzone the first high-performance lithium‑ion battery factory for electric vehicles in Europe, operated by LG Energy Solution, was established. The first phase of production was launched in 2018.

Currently, this plant is the world's largest factory producing batteries for electric cars. Its production capacity is 100 GWh of battery capacity per year, which corresponds to the production of 1 million battery cells.
